Build your level of management data with Asteral’s fully managed vendor-neutral IT solutions and enjoy the benefits of best-in-class IT solutions enabling class leading Radiology and Cardiology service delivery.
Integrating IT systems with Asteral can remove the burden and risk of installing and operating your own systems, as well as providing efficiencies and cost savings over the course of the service.
Asteral recognises the need for comprehensive management data and can offer a suite of IT systems to build your level of business intelligence within a managed service. Asteral offers a suite of systems from preferred partners including RIS, PACS, inventory management and procedure-level costing, but retains its unique vendor-neutrality to ensure the best fit integrated software solutions are planned and implemented on time and to budget.
Asteral has developed an IT infrastructure supported by Htrak and Assistive Partners that provides integrated procurement, inventory management and procedure level costings for Cardiology and Interventional Radiology departments, as part of its clinical consumables supply and management service available through Asteral Select.
RIS & PACS
We are building integrated managed services inclusive of RIS and PACS provided by its selected partners – medavis & VISUS. medavis is an independent software vendor specialising in Radiology and telemedicine solutions and VISUS is a leading vendor of medical image distribution solutions. Both companies’ solutions are complementary and therefore tightly integrated, with combined solutions installed at more than 150 locations and available through Asteral Select.
Asteral keeps accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities on our bespoke computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), which is fully integrated with the Asteral Service Centre and our on-site and field-based engineering teams. Powered by leading provider Mainspring Healthcare Solutions our CMMS supports CQC compliance and is in line with all appropriate MHRA guidelines including Managing Medical Devices: April 2014. Asteral’s CMMS comes with a web-based customer portal, which enables you to obtain real-time performance reports and up-to-the-minute updates. These include work order reports, equipment lists and service history, and all planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
Integral to all maintenance activity within both Asteral Select and Asteral Protect services is Asteral’s N3 accreditation for remote diagnostic services, allowing Asteral’s maintenance engineers remote access to diagnose and resolve faults on critical medical equipment. Access to the N3 network provides another parameter for Asteral to continue to deliver enhanced levels of service delivery, reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
