Asteral, the UK’s leading vendor-independent provider of managed equipment and managed maintenance services to the healthcare industry is pleased to announce that King Edward VII’s Hospital in London has renewed its managed maintenance service, Asteral Protect, for a further two-years.
The new two-year service for diagnostic imaging equipment is further to the success of a previous three-year managed maintenance service which began in April 2011.
Asteral Protect will provide the hospital with both cost savings and operational benefits including a single point-of-contact service centre for all service requests, guaranteed uptime, and detailed vendor-neutral reporting on equipment performance.
King Edward VII’s Hospital joins a growing number of healthcare providers who are realising the potential savings that Asteral Protect can offer them.
Jason Long, Business Development Director at Asteral said: “Asteral is delighted with the award of King Edward VII’s Hospital maintenance contract: this renewal serves as testament to the success of Asteral’s Protect service. Asteral’s range of services delivers measurable cost and efficiency savings for the maintenance of critical medical equipment. Hospitals are able to make vital savings on their non-pay spend and remodel the way they plan the maintenance of their medical facilities, achieving better efficiency and productivity.”
