Asteral is taking centre stage at this year’s HFMA event and awards ceremony.
Organised by HFMA – the representative body for finance staff in healthcare – this year’s annual event on the 5th to 7th December at the Hilton Metropole London will focus on its President’s theme of ‘Making a Difference’. As well as taking a stand at the three-day event, to demonstrate how managed equipment services are making a difference, Asteral is sponsoring the event’s prestigious gala dinner and awards ceremony on the 6th December.
Launched in July this year, Asteral’s offerings specifically cater for the needs of NHS hospitals today. Lowering the cost and complexity of equipment procurement and management, Select and Protect help to meet QIPP targets and deliver major efficiencies throughout the entire equipment lifecycle – from initial procurement and installation, to management, maintenance and decommissioning.
CEO at Asteral Christopher Langley said: “Hospitals today are under enormous pressure to deliver efficiencies whilst improving services and our new offering has been developed to specifically meet these challenges. The HFMA’s theme of making a difference is absolutely right: NHS finance managers need to be focused on proven services that make a positive impact on operations. Through Select and Protect we are helping many NHS Trusts to make a difference through improved equipment procurement and management and we’re looking forward to discussing ways of helping more hospitals at this important industry event”.
